On 21 January 2019 APPG on TWS Held a meeting in the London House of Parliament and discussed the current Human Rights Situations in Yemen. The Meeting was chaired by Chair of TWS, Mushtaq Lasharie (CBE) and main speakers included:

*Journalist Saundra Satterlee: Chair of the Executive Committee of TWS,
*MP Liz Twist Chair of APPG on TWS
*Mr Clive Menzies: A Political Economist, Editor and Communicator at Critical Thinking, Free University
*Mr Oscar James: Amnesty International UK
*Mr Ali Masfary: a Yemeni Citizen Residing in London
All Speakers indicated the shocking Human Rights disaster in Yemen and urged all contestant bodies to stop the conflict for the sake of the suffering people of Yemen and resolve their issues peacefully. The meeting also emphasised the importance of creating awareness about this saddening situation to enable the International Community to put pressure on Saudi Arabia, Houthi and their allies.
