Ethiopians in London traveled to Cornwall, Ives (UK) and Protested Against the Amhara Genocide in Ethiopia. The purpose of the Journey was to protest against the hidden Amhara genocide in Ethiopia at 2021 G7 Summit. This 13/06/2021 journey was organised by the Amhara Community in the UK. When we arrived at the Ives, Media Centre we were received warmly by the area people, the Media and holiday makers. Drums were roaring, hands were clapping and people were cheering us up.
The graceful, legal and Historic Flags of Ethiopia and the UK have attracted the holiday makers. The area people loved and appreciated the colorful Ethiopian legal flag and called it “the Magic Flag, Marvelous Flag, Colorful Flag, Attractive Fag etc.” We were also cordially invited to make a speech on the purpose of our presence at the Podium. In all our walks in this beautiful Town people were cheering us up, clapping and joining us by holding and weaving the Ethiopian flag. The generosity, hospitality and support of the area people has touched the harts and minds of the Amhara/Ethiopian Community in the UK. Even though we haven’t reached very near to the building of the Summit the protest trip was successful, historic and unforgettable. Let me take this opportunity to thank the people of Cornwall, St Ives and all other holiday makers for their kind reception and support.
BACK GROUND TO THE ANCIENT PEOPLE OF AMHARA
The Ancient Amharas are indigenous to Ethiopia and are the founders of this historic and independent Country. The Amhara EtiEl (Ethiop) is the founder of Ethiopia/Afica. Emperor Anbesa Awudim of the Axum, St Lalibela of Zagwee, Emperor Zara Yakob of the historic Shewa (Debre Birhan), Emperor LibneDingle (who has created the first cross continental alliance between Ethiopia Portugal in the 16th Century against the Ottoman Islamist expansion to Ethiopia/Africa), Emperor Fasil who has built the marvelous City of Gondar), Emperor Preston John, in Amharic “TSADIQU YOHANNES” (respected and accepted Christian spiritual leader in Europe, America and Asia), Emperor Menelik, and Emperor Haile Selassie are few of the enlightened Rulers of Ethiopia who have United, defended and developed Ethiopia with harmony, peace and justice. Beyond that St Henock (Enoch) inspired by the whole World is an Amhara. Amharas have been living in their father’s (Ethiop’s) land for Thousands Years before the migration of Gala (renamed as Oromo) brothers.
Amharas always accepted new comers, protected the liberty and equality of the different ethnic groups and their beliefs. Ethiopians have been living in harmony and peace until the recent lawless regimes emerged as fake Democrats and introduced the evil divisive ethnic politics deliberately to destroy this ancient country and destabilize Africa. The farsighted Amharas had rejected ethnic based organisations for more than 3 decades. Nevertheless, TPLF & OLF have continued to organise, arm and encourage terrorist groups in the name of Ethnic Federalism to target the unorganized innocent Christian Amharas and further committed genocide against farmers & civilians, children and the elderlies since 1991. Due to the continuous genocide & Ethnic cleansing against them, Amaras are compelled to establish Civic and Political Organisation to be a voice for their voiceless people.
However, the goal of all Amhara organisations is not only to protect the Amharas from primitive & barbaric tribal criminals but also to defend other Ethnic groups and Ethiopia from further disintegration and suffering. If the US, UK, EU, the Russian Federation, China and other peace loving governments want peace & stability in Africa then they must support the just peace loving ancient and majority Amhara people in Ethiopia. The shocking genocide & the 2.4 Million Missing Amharas from the surface of the earth has been reported in the Ethiopian Parliament by the regime’s own authorities. Amharas are the first believers of the Old Testament, the icons of Global Christianity, and Black Civilization.
Amhara Kings defended the Religion of Islam by accepting the first Muslim believers as refugees which helped the religion to survive and flourish. But fundamentalists & Fascist remnants have been betraying the holy land of Ethiopia again and again. Prophet Muhammad has advised his followers “not to touch Ethiopia” but few fundamentalists are breaching his holy words & are doing the contrary. Amharas will not sit down and watch when their people are massacred and their country Ethiopia is destroyed by lawless fundamental terrorists & Fascist remnants. Amharas together with the peace loving international community will repeat the victory against injustice, defended Peace, their land Ethiopian & its people against all odds.
